We arrived at dawn on an overcast and calm Sunday morning. The sight and smell of land was so beautiful. We surveyed the bay for a good place to drop the anchor, had a beer and went straight to bed. Man, we were so tired!
When we awoke, we had to pinch ourselves to make sure we weren't dreaming of being at anchor. After a brief look around, we realized it was real and we were in fact anchored in a bay. Oh the joy of it! We set about inflating the dinghy, put some of the passage gear away then finally made it ashore for a much needed meal and a ground that didn't move! The land wobbles were extreme. There was no way either of us could walk a straight line. That night, we slept for a solid 12 hours. Bliss.
There is so much more to say, but you'll have to wait till tomorrow.... It takes a lot of time to assemble 28 days of information.
Stay tuned, there's more to come soon.
We just wanted to say we're safe and sound :)
