In the PIT... Pittsburgh that is !

We made it out of cold Switzerland only to arrive in a freezing Pittsburgh. It's been -8C or 17F which made venturing outside a bit difficult - but we did it anyway. My sister Marilyn, her husband Mark and their daughter Hailey made us completely welcome in their warm and food-filled home. Yummm. It was one feast followed by another - they love to cook and Bill and I love to EAT. Was a perfect fit! Aaron, my nephew was away at college so we didn't get to see him, we'll just have to wait till next time. We did manage to spend a bit of time with Walter White though :)
I was going to attach a slide show, but I can't figure it out. We're waiting at the airport for our next flight to California and don't have time, so here's a few pics instead.

Bye Bye Basel...

Today is our last day of work.
We've had an incredible 11 year stretch with Endress+Hauser.
There are a lot of people and things we'll miss, but we're ready to start our next adventure!

Last day at work....

Engineering Off-Site Meeting 2013

Thanks to those of you who took so much time for us before our departure. The coffees, dinners, and drinks were fantastic!!
You'll be hearing a lot more from us soon. We plan to add a link to a map showing where we are on the globe, and more information and pictures about our boat, Kailani. Stay tuned for more info!!

We're still at work in Switzerland....

We have one more week of work here in Basel, then we're off.
It's been quite an intense time leading up to this point.
Last month, we packed up our apartment, organized the shippment of our stuff, moved out and said a sad good bye to our neighbours in Binningen.
Next week we get to do it all over again with our work colleagues. Friday the 24th is our last day of work, and on Saturday the 25th we fly, fly away.
